My discharge has been like that since I got my first period. It's consistency changes throughout the cycle. Right after I stop my period, it's watery and kind of creamy. Right when ovulation begins, it's gelatinous and comes out in globs (gross I know). Other times it's very thick, and could almost resemble chalk. Right before my period, there's quite a lot of it as you described, it just leaks out by standing up! Sometimes it smells faintly of vinegar. Unless it really bothers you, it might just be normal for you.

Its not BV. I started having yellowish chuncky discharge after sex AFTER I got treated for BV. Also BV is not an STD but can become one if you have multpile partners and don't get treatment. I think my doctors dosage for my bv was too high and therefore I'm experiencing this. My good and bad bacteria got messed up. I do believe however that it will go away after I have my period. If not I'm going back to the same doctor asap. Hope this helps.

You may not have an std actually. It may just be bacterial vaginosis. i had something like that but you do need to go to the doctor. planned parenthood is an amazing place to go even if you don't have insurance they are very kind and will find a way to get you taken care of at little or no cost

I just barely noticed some chuncky white stuff around my vagina. Kinda in the.. Folds? I haven't started my period yet and I'm definentaly not sexually involved. I don't want to tell my mom cause that's awkward and I know she wouldn't take me to the doctor. I don't know what to do, or what it is.

Hey, I've had these exact symptoms before and I was old it's bacterial vaginosis . I got prescribed a medication , and it seems to have worked for me. The medication is called epo metronidazole 250mg. I do still notice a discharge but I'm assuming now that's just my natural discharge .

I'm 15 and I'm getting that same vaginal discharge. It looks to me like coagulated cum. Its clear and doesn't have an oder . I don't get it too regularly either just every once in a wile. I'm not taking any medication, I'm really curios on What it could be. I don't have pain or anything in fact I don't really notice it until I go to the bathroom. Its just irregular and I don't think I absoulutly need to are a doctor about it but thatearlier comment about an std and iinfertility really scared me. I can't have an std though I'm a virgin, but I'm worried about the infertility now, what's this thing about?

I am almost 19 years old i do NOT taking any meds but i have otten more discharge than usual often for more than 5 years now. I have visited nurse practitioner, OBGYN and have had a pap smear. i have no diseases and my vagina is healthy. i have never been pregnant before. take note of your emotions it is one of the things that takes part in what is happening to your body. i have been having the discharge a little more now and i have already recently gone to the nurse practitioner. Still normal. i have no itching just alot of discharge. i have only started masturbating 6 months ago. i havent had sexual intercourse for a little more than a year now. Calm down down jump into any conclusions. calmly go to the doctor. your body may just really like going through orgasm.  i hope this help. good luck ladies.

using too much chemicals: soap ;douche... can mess up your pH level. just wash everyday with the same soap and wear different underwear everyday. wash and change undee wear before sleeping.

It is yeast. You can get yeast infections without itching/burning/discomfort down there. Remember that yeast is a naturally occurring fungi in your body, and an overgrowth of it can cause a discharge without the discomfort. I recommend taking acidophilus supplements daily, as this will regulate the "good" bacteria in your body and normalize the pH levels in your body, which will lessen the yeasty discharge. Another thing to note is that you can have a yeast infection and still test negative for yeast; small amounts of overgrowth can pass by undetected by many medical tests. An overgrowth of yeast can be cause by a change in hormones. Being on Prozac or other mood altering medications throw off your hormones (of course - this is their job!). However, these hormonal changes can manifest themselves physiologically. Stress, medications, menstrual cycle, lack of sleep... All of these things can affect your hormones, which can affect your pH levels in your body. This is why some (not all) women find that their thicker discharge and/or yeast infections worsen during different times of the cycle. The hormones altered by the medications could simply be throwing your body for a loop. As I recommended before, daily acidophilus (as well as probiotic yogurt) can help regulate this issue.
