I had very bad urinary infection. I was getting intramuscular cefalexins twice a day. That lasted for 2 weeks, and by ultrasound my doctor saw that my left kidney has very small damage. I’m 25 and even very small damage sounds bad for me. Anyway, I feel much better now, but have to take ciprofluoxin for 3 weeks more. And it is a trigonic drug. Will it cause me noticeable side effects, I mean that I have to stay at home and have rest?

It is trigonic, but it does not mean that you will be drowsy all day long. It is important to cure this infection completely, to prevent its recurrence. And to prevent that you kidney be more damaged. I had Escherichia in urinary system and had to take ciprofloxacin for 4 weeks. It probably was not as bad as yours, because I didn’t get it parenteraly. But
