I’m 26 years old girl and I have a serious problem. Before six months I got first urinary tract infection. Urine analysis showed large amounts of Escherichia coli. I used antibiotic and after that everything was ok but only for three weeks. Then I notice the same symptoms of UTI. Since then Escherichia coli always comes back. Could repeated urinary infections damage the kidneys?

Definitely it’s not good to have repeated urinary infections. It can become a chronic UTI and it can be very annoying. I know for sure that untreated UIT can seriously damage kidneys. Because of that you always need to take medications. I heard that cranberry juice can help. It’s excellent as prevention.
