Well I'm 23 and have had this problem for as long as I can remember. I finally went to the doctors and was forwarded to the hospital this week. Seen the doctor there and have been told the best way forward is to have an Circumcision! Now this seems the best way forward as i cant even pull my foreskin back. But sine google-ing this topic I hav eread some really horror stories on Circumcision. I'm form the UK and its not a very common thing to have done. I really need some advice as to go forward with this as i have the op in 4 weeks on the NHS free. Any help or advice would be great. All the best Adam.

Hi Adam,
Can you get a second opinion?
If your doctor recommends circumcision then he has considered all the options and given you what he considers to be the best means of proceeding. That does not mean you need to go along with it. Ask another doctor. Even if you have to pay for this it will help you make what YOU consider to be the best decision.
As for circumcision, I'm from the US and it is still very common here. I'm sure you've read horror stories because nobody writes "good news" stories. While you'll have some discomfort after the procedure and the head will be very sensitive for a while, you'll get accustomed to it quickly.
Please discuss your concerns with your doctor. Everyone is different as to exactly what needs to be done and recovery time but he can give you their best opinion.
Good luck with your decision, please keep us posted.
