On April 18, 2011 I had my Mirena IUD taken out after having it in for 2 years and 8 months.  Two days later I started my period which lasted for 5 days.  Two days after my period ended I had this thick clear mucus discharge.  I'm sorry this sounds really gross... It had no smell and I have had no vaginal itching or irritation.  I was just wondering what this could be?  Also I am trying to conceive with my husband and I have no idea what my cycle length is or when I may be ovulating because I had no periods while I was using the IUD.  While researching this online it sounded like cervical mucus that happens right before you ovulate.  If anyone can tell me if they had a similar experience or has any advice for me please let me know.  Thanks  :-)
