Hello, I'm 12 years old and my name is Nathaniel. Well, recently, I became sick. 2 days later, I came to what I believe is a cold sore on my bottom lip. I did some research as I am scared that it will affect me a lot. So far I have read that I had a cold, my immune system weakened, and the coldsore came up. I am not sure I got it recently or from a long time ago.

I am REALLY worried that the cold sore (herpies) will transfer to my testicles. Is it possible say.. just by getting the cold sore germ-thing on my hand, then some how transfer to my testicle. (Not just by masturbation, what about just randomly touch your balls?)

After I did some research, I'm trying to clean up everything (yes everything) I touched in the house from the "germs". I don't want to spread it to my parents or brothers as I heard it was contagious.

Questions: Is it necessary to clean up everywhere to make sure I don't pass the germs? Is there a cure for oral herpies (cold sores) or so I have to live with it for the rest of my life?

Is it possible to spread the oral herpies by:
-Hand?
-Objects? (Couches, chairs, desks, etc.)
-Glasses? (Drinks)
-Kisses?
