Hey there!

Just another person posting about the same experience. After my colp NOTHING came out for 8 days. I got curious and stuck my fingers inside to check it out. Thats when I felt ALOT of "junk" inside. Wholly creeped out and not able to stand the idea of this stuff being inside me AND feeling relatively comfortable with the idea that I had healed enough, I started pulling the chunks out.

The first one was about the size of a quarter. It was covered in a wrinkly, thin, skin-like covering. Inside was a dark, coffee colored, grainy mass. I kept fishing around and pulled out another chunk the size of my palm. This was just as distressing as everyone else described because NO ONE TOLD me this was a possibility. I figured that it would have come out eventually, but 8 days was too long to wait and once I felt it...it HAD to come out.

I hope this helps everyone who also has this experience. I'm going to ask my doctor why she didn't warn me.

i just had something similar happen to me. like everyone else, i am so glad i found this site and that this happens to others. however, is anyone else extremely angry that their doctors didn't warn them that something like this could happen? i was only warned about black or yellow discharge, nothing about large chunks that look like a fetus or an organ coming out of me. it's terrifying and i think it is inexcusable that i, and the rest of the women posting here, had to go through something so frightening.

Oh my gosh, same here. I had my colp done on Mon and today is Saturday. What looked like a skin like sack of coffee ground passed and I thought I was dying. Or seriously sick. My doctor mentioned nothing of this either! He did however say I would pass what looked like coffee grinds. I honestly think that most women are so frightened and utterly repulsed by this that they just keep it to themselves. But I can't imagine a doctor not knowing about this. And why the hell he wouldn't warn me of it?

I've had 2 of them now & it's happened to me both times. My doctor did warn me about it, though she did not tell me what it is exactly, so I looked it up. It is the medicine applied to stop the bleeding of the biopsied areas. It is red or pink because it has mixed with the blood that it was supposed to clot.

Same story for me. Thanks to everyone for the posts! Could not find the info elsewhere. I started crying when I discovered white clots inside of me. I though I am having yeast infection again. So frustrating! Does anyone know when this discharge might stop? Or should I go to the doctor and have them do something about it?

Thanks to everyone for posting on this!! I had my colpo on thursday with the same warnings about "coffee grounds" discharge, but today found all this tissue-like discharge. Just like everyone was describing, it was kind of like yellowish skin (reminded me of the stuff on the inside of a pumpkin). Was afraid I had an infection, but there was no odor or discomfort - just some grossness! Why do the docs not warn us about this stuff? The colpo was annoying enough without worrying about this weird stuff! I'm calling my doctor on monday to tell her so that other women won't be as surprised as I was!

Had one last week.Doc didnt tell me either but found out the tissue like clumps/discharge is packing left over from the biopsy! If you did NOT have a biopsy then I don't know what else it could be but definitely experienced expelling the tissue clumping discharge .Hope it helps:)

Me too, with the "sack." At first, I thought it was a bay leaf! There were tissue-like "veins" or lines in it... it seems like the coffee-ground stuff dried out the inside of my vag so much, it sloughed off -- but really, what the hell is it? I just don't know why else that would be in there!

I am SO relieved to read all of these posts. I had a colposcopy on Monday. I went to use the restroom today (Thursday)... and on the toilet paper was this thing that looked like a crumpled organ! I thought a frickin ovary came out. My sister is a nurse so I had her look at it. She had no idea what it was and after examining it... we thought it was a condom! I was so pissed and was about to call my boyfriend to yell at him about leaving a condom in me! I called the doctor and they called me back, leaving me a message saying "that discharge is completely normal" and it's a product they use during the procedure. Why the heck they don't tell people that will happen is BEYOND me. I was completely freaked...

I wish doctors would be more forthcoming with the "what to expect later" information. I had my colpo done 9 days ago. I was cautioned about the 'coffee grinds' and 'yellow colored' discharge a few days after, but there was no mention of 'skin like, baby sock sized, condom tip-ish sacks' potentially falling out of your va-j-j over a week later!!! I was about to curse out my boyfriend because I thought he left the condom inside from the night before. . . here I waited a whole week after the colpo to do anything with him, just think if I hadn't then that skin sack probably would still be inside of me!!! Thankfully it didnt 'drop' out until the morning after. . . how gross would that have been during?!?! Thanks for the posts ladies!! How did we all keep our sanity before the internet??
