I am 24 years old. I had a Tonsilectomy in November of 2015. I had the surgery due to an abscess tonsil that had ruptured after an altercation that involved me being choked to the point of passing out while have tonsillitis. Recovery was not too bad, but since the surgery a couple of new problems have arose. Now, i have an almost constant wooshing noise in my right ear. At first flonase helped with this but it does not seem to work anymore. Also, I can not swallow with the right side of my throat, and if by some miracle i get liquid to go down on the right side it hurts beyond belief and feels like there is a lump in my throat. Now, when i drink something or smoke a cigarette and the liquid or smoke goes on the right side of my throat i get a searing pain in my ear as if the smoke or liquid is coming out of my ear. Anyone else have this problem???
