Hi, I've been having these problems since around last Thuresday and have been to the doctor once and took a blood tests but nothing came of it, I'll be seeing him again today. I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to help me. I can't go on feeling like this every day...
I've been constantly shaking, it doesn't matter when I eat or if I'm eating at the time, it never stops. Sometimes it will be less noticable than others just being in my hands and others it will be in my legs, arms, and neck. My periods have been messed up for a couple months now, I never know when they are coming and I constantly feel as if I'm on one even though I'm not with both stomach cramps and back cramps. I'm always feeling like really lightheaded and will occasionally get headaches. Usually, I'm a night person and stay up until all hours but lately I've gotten extremely tired around eight in the evening to the point I HAVE to be sleeping by eleven.
If it comes as any importance I'm sixteen years old. Thanks a lot. =]

It is not healthy for a young teen like you to stay up all night. Even a teen will need at least 7 hours of sleep every night. Since your blood tests had come back normal, I will have to assume that your symptoms are not a result of electrolyte, hormone, or glucose imbalances. It is possible that you are suffering from a case of "nerves". The way to deal with this is to put some structure in your life. Try to get up at the same time every day, go to bed at the same time every day. Engage in some form of aerobic exercise and weight training at least 3 times a week. Try to eat at least 3 balanced meals every day. Try to go light on caffeine products (pops, energy drinks, coffee and tea). Try to wean yourself from any addiction that you may have, such as long hours on the internet, tobacco, etc. Try to have an active social life.
