could i be developing a penis when im a girl?

okay how old are? If you don't know this info I would get a body book for girls.......This is basic info.

IF YOU ARE A GIRL, ( no surgery) YOU DON'T HAVE A PENIS , NOR WILL YOU EVER GET ONE! Don't worry! I bet you just made it sensetive and swell up.....

Your clitoris probably doesn't have a hole, but rather an indentation or slight cleft. The clitoris has the same origin as a penis, so there are similarities, but you are not developing a penis. You have a separate hole for urination which is between your clitoris and your vagina. You didn't say anything about its size, but it might be developing into a larger clitoris as you are going through puberty. Clitorises vary in size from girl to girl just as penises vary in size from boy to boy. Also you didn't say anything about how it was swollen. Was it from sexual arousal, or was it from chafing? What caused you to look at it on this occasion?
You could ask your mother about it, or if you are really concerned, ask a health care professional.

The clitoris is from the same genital tissue as the penis. Just as there are variations in penis size (both aroused and unaroused), so there are in clitoris size. I don't know how old you are, but bear in mind that (just like a penis) it increases in size during puberty. By the time puberty ends, the clitoris could be almost twice the size as when puberty began. Furthermore, it could double again in size by early 30's, and maybe nearly double again after menopause.
You don't describe your situation very clearly, but I hope this is a start. If I haven't addressed your question adequately, then ask again.
