I have had very painful periods since I was 13.
On a pain scale chart, I rank the pain 9 on most months (delirium, inability to think clearly, crying in pain) and sometimes a 10 (total unconsciousness)

On my last period,
I tried to take some midol and it made me sick.
I ran upstairs to my dorm's public shower.

I stayed in the shower for the next 6 hours.
I threw up over and over again.
I had total incontinence.
There are black outs in time which I can't remember.
Eventually, someone heard me moaning and asked if I was okay.
They were able to get me a bottle of asprin. I had to take dozens before I could keep a couple down and even then the pain was only dulled.

That or something just about as bad happens to me every month.

My OBGYN said that this is normal. My pain was not that bad when I was 13, but I went to go see her a few months ago and she just told me to keep taking my birth control and that my symptoms were what every girl goes through.

I also have chronic back pain and frequent painful urination which is not caused by a UTI.

I don't know where to go. My OBGYN tells me I'm fine.
Is that really normal or could it be endometriosis?
How can I make my doctor listen to me?

I think that what you are going through is not normal at all. A lot of people don't realize this, but if your doctor gives you a diagnosis that seems unusual, then you can always seek a second opinion. It seems to me that either you have not explained to your ob/gyn what you are going through accurately, or she doesn't seem to understand what you are going through. If it's the former, then you should talk to her again. If it's the latter, then you should get a second opinion. Keep us posted either way. Good luck.
