One of my friends has just found out that she has Cylmidia, and she says that she got it from a guy she had sex with over a month ago. She also says that she hasn't had sex with him sinse, is it posible that she got it from that guy?

Yes, why wouldn’t it be possible? Chlamydia is a bacterium that stays in the body until treated with antibiotics. The biggest problem is that more than often, Chlamydia causes no symptoms and many girls don’t even know they have the bacterium.
If they do cause symptoms, they usually cause abnormal vaginal discharge or burning during urination. If the disease progresses, it may even cause lower abdominal pain, low back pain, nausea, fever, pain during intercourse, and bleeding between menstrual periods.
Chlamydia can cause complications if not treated on time and even impair fertility if it spreads to the fallopian tubes scarring them.

If spotted on time, Chlamydia is easily treated with antibiotics. A person who is being treated for Chlamydia should either refrain from sex or use condoms every time, so that she could heal and not spread bacteria to her partner.
