I have a dark area of skin on the top of my stomach, looks kind of like a bruise, and stays for months at a time. this is the second time it happened, the first was 5 years ago. i don't know what it could be, i do not tan, am rarely in the sun for prolonged periods of time, and it is only in this area. no soreness or flaking. what could this be?
