Hello! I am 38 years old male, and I have an epilepsy, just found out after my 2nd seizure. I got this drug dekapine to try if it is going to help me reduce or stop the seizures. I wanted to ask if anybody knew anything about this drug, and if there is anything special I should be aware of.

Hi there! You should definitely know that this drug is not harmless at all. I actually think that its name is written Depakene. Anyway, things with this drug are serious because it can cause serious, even fatal, liver and pancreas damage, especially during the first 6 months of treatment but it can also develop years after the treatment. Here are some signs for you to be aware of. If any of these develop, you should call your doctor. They are abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting.
