One common cause of this is placing sunglasses on the top of your head for long periods of time (repeatedly). I had this too and was freaked out but it turned out to just be from the glasses on my head.

One common cause of indentations on the top of the head is keeping sunglasses (or saftey glasses or goggles/masks) on the top of your head repeadedly for long periods of time.
I noticed this on my head also and was freaked out until I realized that it was simply the sunglasses sitting on the top of my head that caused it (not a health issue).

I have the same thing. What you say makes total sense as the dents are exactly where the lenses sit on top of my head and the bump in between the dents is like the bridge of a nose I guess . I too have banged them into my head getting in and out of the car!!!! Initially I've been reading about being stress related , and my bumpy area hurts a bit, but I think I bumped it the other evening getting out car. I've got so used to that.... but I was worrying over all sorts of possibilities. You are genius!! It's got to be that!

I'm 61 and noticed a significant dent on the crown of my head and I've developed acne and itching too. I had a stroke 4 months ago...a TIA (3 episodes lasting 10 minutes each) which was terrifying. I wonder if it's all connected. I noticed the dent prior to the stroke and wish I'd thought to ask the neurologist about it. Also noticed a weird sensitivity to touch on the right side of my skull. A lot going on with my scalp all at the same time. Very weird. This is the first time I've googled it and am surprised how many people reporting similar things. Aliens?

I am a 48 year old female with the same 2 dents. Seems like a ridge in between them. I have no clue, but it scares me.

Look into the keto diet. Not to be confused fused with ketoacidosis which is something entirely different.

I am a 49 year old female, morbidly obese diabetic, lupus, Chronic EBV, fibromyalgia and tachycardia. I started with one bump at the front left part of my hairline around 1 inch wider and 1 1/2 inch long then 4 weeks later 1/2 inch over to the right another dent showed up around the same size. Mine have tender soft spots right in the middle of them. I'm very concerned.
