So I'm 19 and after having my first panic attack a few months ago I got dp but didn't realize what it was. Now for the past week it has been an everyday thing and it went away one time and it felt so amazing to be myself again but the next day it came right back. Does anyone have advice

The first thing I'd say to you Ashleigh, (and this is probably the important thing of all) is that you are not abnormal or, to quote some of the less understanding people on this planet "a freak".. Never believe that.. Feelings of asociality or depersonalization are pretty common amongst a vast majority of people on this planet. Some people hide it better than others.. Einstein was socially shy, Leonardo Da Vinci was a right lunatic, Beethoven was an alcoholic with bi-polar disorder, i could go on.. The most important thing to focus on is the uniqueness of you.. You don't need 400 friends on Facebook or a mass following on Youtube or a huge circle of friends to be a success. Being honest & true with yourself overrides all that superficial bull..
The second thing i would say to you is, seek professional help, there is no shame in asking your Doctor to refer you to a mental health expert. As the old adage go's "A problem shared, is a problem halved", & it's true, the very act of spilling all your frustrations & fears in life to another person can lift a great burden from your shoulders.. Good luck :)
