Hi I just recently developed bumps around my vaginal and near my rectum, they are very itchy and painful. i have not been sexually active for about 2 months and I am very concern because I have used ointments and powders and nothings seem to help,can you.

Hi, I'm not sure if you have solved ur problem yet, but it sounds to me like Herpes, I also have it, I only get about 2-3 bumps in one spot but depending on the severity you can breakout anywhere and everywhere. This goes away on it's own in about 10-12 days but seeking treatment from the doctor will lessen this time and it helps with the itching and burning. I am on a daily treatment of Valtrex taken once a day every day to prevent and lessen the breakouts, this works for me alot, sometimes I get alitttle stressed and I'll start to breakout but then it stops and goes away. Herpes has no cure so you have it for life, it lives in your spinal cord and effects the nervous system. I get pain in my right leg and hip when I breakout. Maybe you don't have herpes but it sounds to me very much like Herpes. Best of luck. If it turns out to be Herpes and you need someone to talk to or ask questions feel free :-D
