Ok so i have been having brething problems so i went to an ENT to cheak my adenoids out. That isnt the point though! When she put that weird rubber nose telescope in my nose she found something else... when she put it in the first nostril it was fine, but the left one REALLY hurt. The ENT said that my septum was deviated and i would eventually need it fixed (with surgery). She said i would have to wait because im 14 so my face is still growing and what-not. I looked up on line and there was some conflicting opinions... but it all sounded awful... they said something about a nose job somewhere and i started crying. i DO NOT want a nose job, plastic surgery always looks stupid. PLEASE tell me about the procedure and the recovery in detail so i can stop freaking out! i DO NOT think that thatll be fun in a few years...

Chill out! It is not plastic surgery at all, just a roto-rooter of sorts to help open up the airway, and straighten out the way your nose drains. It has helped me to breath much easier, and I rarely get sinus infections. That being said I had some serious complications with the surgery, but they were rare, and the doctor had never even seen them before.
