I was referred to a cardiologist because i was having some chest pain and pain across my upper back. After having cardio workup turn out normal(every tests except cath),he sent me for a gallbladder function test.I have never had digestive problems of any kind, but the test showed my gallbladder was functioning at 14%.My gallbladder was removed at doctors suggestion and my problems increased significantly. The surgery was August 1,2008 and I have had diarrhea since(never before).I am also experiencing extreme muscle pain in my shoulders, right arm and across my upper back.I am 52 years old and I am sleeping poorly and feeling like a 90yo. Please help me with any ideas or suggestions !!

I know exactly how you feel. I had mine removed one month ago and I feel so bad all the time. No matter what I eat I get sick to my stomach for hours on top of the diarrhea. I also have the muscle pain in my shoulders. I am 42. I feel like I have to lay in bed all the time and I am so tired. A little depressed I think because of these symptoms. I just don't feel good, so I am not into anything. I hope this gets better.

Thank you for answering what I've wondered about for six months. I have had such sore arms that it's hard to put a sweater on. I had my gallbladder removed in Nov. and this started shortly after that. Is this something that will go away in time or do I have to live with this forever? Thanks
