My daughter is two years old and already diagnosed with epi. For hers seizures doctor recommended Diazepam PR (per rectum). My wife and I found out that hers seizures stops quickly when we gave her Diazepam IV (intra venous). By the way my wife is a nurse. Is it safe to give Diazepam IV to our daughter in home?

As I am concerned, I dont think that you are doing anything wrong by giving IV Diazepam to your daughter in home. Especially if your wife is doing that (she is nurse, right). But maybe this is not a place for that kind of advice. Maybe you should ask your daughters doctor about Diazepam IV giving in home. He/she will give you best advice.
