No, you didn't test too early. 2-3 weeks after having sex should give you an accurate reading. Did you use your very first morning urine? It's more concentrated so should give an accurate result when testing early, as you did.
It's only a few days after you were due. Give it another few days then test again.
Assuming you have a 28 day cycle you had sex on days 12 and 16 of your cycle. Unfortunately, you'd likely ovulate sometime between days 11-16 (and sperm can live about 5 days). There is a chance.
Make sure you test first thing. You don't want a lot of urine, you want it concentrated - dark in color. Don't drink many fluids beforehand.

thanks alot.. i didnt use myy morning urine so maybe i am pregnant i have alot of symptoms such as back pain, stomach, im eating alot and peeing alot more! i had one spot of blood and that was it i have morning and night nausea thats it..my breast were hurting for a few days
