difference between endocet and percocet

Hi all. I've read many of the responses on here...and quite frankly almost all of you are correct. Therer is no way this woman can take that many pills and be NOT high. You my dear lady are a drug addict. I say this not to insult, because I am one too. Well, I was. Oxy Percs Endo...all these pills will absolutley hook you. Youre a junkie after a couple of weeks with this type of consumption. So please dont tell me or us that you really need to take all those pills. 

I started these innocently enough. I tore my left rotor cuff and tendons. It was litterally hanging on by a sliver of muscle. It was bad, really bad pain. My doctor prescribed Vicodins...Man the first time I felt so friggin good. After about 3 weeks, I was upping the ante. I started consuming 3 in the morning 3 miday and 3 at night. Yes they worked for the pain but lets face it I was addicted. I went in for Orthoscopic surgery and again, was given pills for pain. This time it was Oxy. well guess what happended? yup, more pills per day. But never, ever did I get anywhere near that dosage you say you take everyday...with morphine patch? Come on...who are you kidding?!! You are a junkie. A lucky one too. You should of OD'd some time ago. 

 

I stood with these damn pills for over a year...I kicked inbetween cold-turkey, drove my wife nuts with my withdrawls, but I sucked it up as I did this to myself. I now only take one when absolutely necessary. Thats maybe one a month or so. I am scared to death of them things. I am a rather rough n tumble kind of guy and afraid of nothing, but I will confess, I am scared to death of those mighty pills. I cant in any way overpower them. So I stay clear. You have children...look in the mirror and stop being selfish, think of them. If you die, yes Die who will raise them? I have to be this forwaerd and frank because you just dont seem to respect or fear these little pills. You damn well should.

You can do it. Just check into a rehab or if your strong enough mentally go cold turkey. I wouldnt reccomend that though. It is pure unadultered hell. So go to a clinic or ween off them...but stop. YOU ARE KILLING YOURSELF.

Sometimes you have to suck it up. Surgery? Anything but these pills. Appreciate your life, your children...please.

I neglected to mention that I have had back surgery and it still causes me much grief. But...I will never be tricked into taking those magic pills the way I did. It made me a junkie. You can all yell and scream on that term/label, but lets call it what it is...addicted. Addicted to pills. I take one when only the pain becomes overbearing...which is sometimes every 3 or 4 months. Just one pill and I can deal with it not being enough to calm the pain. Dont care, I suck it up.. I have had the same bottle of pills in my medicine cabinet now for almost a year and its still full. Gotta respect them and I do. So surgery, therapy or whatever other alternative method is out there go do it. Unless it is a genetic disease or crippling spine injury thats not surgically repairable, then you should not get on your lil soapbox stool and shout that you "need that many pills" to function. BS. You know it and I know it....Stop taking these pills. You will cause unreversable liver damage and then onto dialysis, then it gets worse, transplant waiting list....then 6ft under. I speak using these "harsh"words because Ived been there and done that until I woke up. How? I looked intio mydaughters eyes when she said "Daddy I love you" dont ever leave me. She said that when my wife and I were arguing. I was in my foul moods. Yes, that is also a symptom...mood swings. I cannot describe how powerful her words were to me. I guess a moment of lucidity kicked in. My life, my kids mean more to me that discomfort. I can suck it up...and always will all without the assistance of those bloody pills. You should too.

Endocet has tylenol in it, plain oxycodone does not of course. If you are taking the generic oxycodone and tylenol, then they have the same active ingredient,

They're the same, different brand name. Just a combo of Tylenol and Oxycodone. If you think the Percocet didn't work for you, it might have been expired, OR you waited too long between the last dose of Endocet and the first dose of Percocet. Getting rid of pain is more difficult than keeping it away, so it is important to take your medication as prescribed, on time, so you establish a minimum blood level.

i think u r correct, it's not the same as percocet

If u say u can go without them an u think ur not addicted try it ,u have morphine and break threw pills I'm sorry to say this but, try one day without them u will probly be out of ur mind that's a lot of med to be on for a lng period of time I garuntee ur gna need withdrawl help ur mind is tricked at this time goodluck!

endocet has tylenol in it so beware of how much you take Tylenol can kill you!!!! it goes to your liver, turns to amonia, goes to your brain and your DEAD!!!!! END OF STORY!!!!  unfortunately I know this all to well, it happened to my daughter!!!!!!  BEWARE!!!!

Endocet is generic Percocet. and there should be NO difference.

the same thing happen to me today ,i spoke to the pharmacy he said ENDOCET is more of a generic for percocet i have to wait to see if the work for me

Fentanyl kills lots of ppl in Canada. Wouldn't recommend it.

Endocet is actually made by the same manufacturer as Percocet percocet is stronger.

I would think with all the meds you're taking, you will suffer withdrawls. Be careful.

Pills dont make you high until they remove the pain. Obviously you have never been in that position...

I am on the oxycod/Apap 10-325mg it's as needed but I don't take it but at night unless in lots of pain I also take the patch 50mg and change it every 2 days hours I use to change it every 4 days but the pain was only helped by the patch and when it stared to wear off in three days they put it for two and it is the only thing that has me hooked because when it's gone I know it I get very very sick but now the patch is falling off in a day 20 hours and it's off I have been putting take on it but I think the meds in it are gone because I start to get sick is it possible for it to wear off that fast? I also have been gain weight very fast the doctors tell me nothing I am taking causes weight gain. I also take gabapentin 400mg but won't take it all the time either and a muscle relaxer called flexal 10mg.
