I have allergies and take medication only when i need to & never thought someone would use it to get high. My son's best friend is a really good kid & like part of the family. He had so much going for him (good job & really good girl). He got on diphenhydramine & DXM & lost it all. Lost the job, the girl & his car. Most of his family won't even talk to him now. He has been staying here with us for almost a month and doing good. He knows that we love him like a son (unconditionally) & will be there to help him through hard times. I don't know what to do. My daughter woke me up scared telling me that something was wrong. She found him in his underwear watching a TV that wasn't on and talking to his ex on the phone (the remote). I tried to talk to him but he kept talking about crazy stuff. I woke my son up & told him i knew he was on something & wanted to know what & where it was All he would tell me was that he was just as upset & would talk to him about it in the morning, until i had him to talk to him. Then my son got scared, he didn't say anything but i could tell by the way he was acting. I usually wouldn't go through their stuff but i did and found a bottle of Sleeping Aid. He had taken 42 pills in 1 night (1050mg). So my son is keeping watch over him right now as i am searching sites to make sure it isn't a OD. I want to call a squad but they say he has taken more before & all it will do is alienate him from his family even more. Someone please let me know what i should do. He is 20 weighs about 165.
