my nan who was 77 years old went into hospital 6 weeks ago with numonia, she was recovering but was unable to leave the hospital as social services were making her home more accesible for her. the doctors were getting annoyed as she was taking up beds which she did not need. however, she was suddenly moved to isolation. isolation however consisted of a room with the door and window constintly open. nurses and doctors who were to lazy to wash there hands and wear gloves and aprons when 'popping' in to check on my nan. 3 weeks later my nan died. if we had just brought her home when we should of she would still be alive. since then we were told by the funeral directors to burn her clothing and anything that she was in contact while in hospital as it could be infectious... the hospital however neglected to pass on any information like this. another family member has made appointments with doctors at the hospital to discuss this cause of death, which the doctor has cancled on all occasions. what i want to know is.... is the cause of death due to a filthy hospital and laziness of staff as the hospitals doctors can't seem to answer any of our questions.
