Thank you for all the details. I keep thinking I'm dying and am in so much fear. I have the ruptured cysts...hospitalizations from them. I feel I can just take it one day at a time. It caused me to have to be on heart medication due to the rapid heartbeat from pain. I now have PTSD that has caused even more problems. I lost my insurance and can't afford any. I was ready to end it due to not being able to get help. I still can't I am still working on finding a way. The PTSD PHYSICAL symptoms are killing me. Yes, I am feeling the same since Christmas. I had the Flu, then vomiting for 3 days and would not stop, nor food down in the stomach. Had to go to hospital. I was only drinking water for 1 day and 1 night. Got better, but pain still on my right side under my rib cage, and sometimes on belly button line right hand side. So my GP asked me for a internal Scan and a cyst of 6cm was found. My teeth feel strange, mouth feverish at times, and I am going through menopause. Hot and cold flushes at times. And now I have a yellow discharge since 3 or 4 weeks ago and smells. Does not come out into my underwear, but when I pass urine and then clean myself. I can feel the discharge sometimes coming out with the urine. I am married and faithful, and because of this pains did not have sex for 6 months now. I had a CT scan, last Saturday at the hospital and waiting contact from hospital doctor and my GP. My gut is also affected, I burp a lot, and stomach gets huge at times. I would set an appointment with my regular gyno. If you went to emergency or even urgent care they only do some tests and give meds for pain. Your regular doc. will give you way more answers and treatment options.

Don't be afraid to ask for a second opinion. If he is out of town ask to book an appointment with a doctor that is available. Also, they tend to do paps as the first way to check things out and also collect samples of discharge etc.

Cysts are likely to return if you have had them. I am now 41, going through very similar things. I have had them on and off through my life since I was 18......never cancerous; but can be extremely painful. I have one the size of y thumb right now that is leaking blood into my pelvis. Not enough for emergency surgery, but I need home and follow-up care (possibly surgery depending on bleeding patterns). It is exhausting. Don't worry about cancer. It is very rare. My understanding is, if there are solid masses in the cyst then it should be tested for cancer.....if it is just the cyst and fluid then don't worry about cancer. I wish you well.

I had that same thing happen! The pain is terrible! Just take the meds, I hope they gave u enuf! You should get an ultrasound to see if the ovary looks normal now. The only treatment is to scrape off what’s left of the cyst and that’s a laparoscopy! See your GYN!

Yes I do to but cyst rupture while having sex with my now ex boyfriend I went to the hospital they ran all the std testing before they Before I realized that I had a cyst on my ovaries but they never came at us back on the STDs

I'm post menopause and this happened to me this morning. I get up during early morning hrs and for some reason looked at tissue this morning and found the same thing dark red/brown color it stopped after 2nd time peeling within 2 or 3 hrs from when I first noticed. I haven't had a period since 2017 so kinda concerned.
