I have the tingling in my left arm, bulging feeling, lower back pain and extremely tired. Been to two different gastrologists and both say I have gastritis and one said an inflamed irritated stomach and put me on Sucralfate. Both did extensive blood work. Found nothing. Six months later I still have the left side pain, bulging hard feeling and am miserable. What happened to the good doctors? I have resolved to feeling this is something I am going to have to live with, until it kills me.

Hi I'm Claire I'm 42 and I have had this feeling for the last 4 months aswel it comes and goes and Is so scary it feels like something is going to pop out of my chest slightly to left of centre of chest under rib cage when its bad its really bad its just so uncomfortable my bra wire digs in it all the time I get constant heart burn and acid, and I'm extremely tired all the time, I've been to docs because family have said it may hiatus hernia but doc doesn't think so and is sending me for ultrasound scan just waiting for the appointment the doc also gave me gaviscon to take after every meal and before bed which works sometimes but not today im also on lansoprazole for my stomach acid because I had my call bladder out at 25 due to gallstones, I wish someone new what it was as it can be so scary sometimes and really doesn't help with my depression and anxiety x

Hi, like so many here, I have the gurgling g on the left side and it reoccurs throughout the day. Sometimes it is loud. I have no pain—which I’m thankful for. I have been seen by three different doctors and no one can help me figure this out. Again, Iike so many, I worry it will turn into something bad! I have had ultra sounds, X-rays, and EKG, and a colonoscopy. I was on Prilosec but that did nothing. Everything has come back negative. Please help if someone has discovered what this is!

For Hernias, here are some Pyschosomatic Factors:
Frustration and unrealistic expectation on accomplishments in a designated time, and stuck in pride in living with your fantasy, or blocked creative inspiration. Especially during this Quarantine of 2020, I felt like I have lost my vitality. Some things that help:
Elevate the head of your bed. Stop eating heavy and late at night and lie down shortly after. Lose weight. And chiropractic adjustments. Also try to humble yourself and set real goals

Did you say you have been diagnosed with Lyme disease and have these same symptoms? I’m asking because I have suspected that my symptoms may be coming from undetected Lyme disease. Just a guy feeling so to speak.

I have found this phenomenon to be the result of spinal injury.

The spinal injury (compression.. herniation, etc) affects the nerves controlling the muscles around lower left abdomen.... contracting it..... blocking digestion (when relieved or stretched out... gurgling sound commences) and causing pain.

If you can feel asking your spine and start rubbing outward and down from the spine on your left side.... while breathing thru it.... you may find some relief.

Have any of you ever been diagnosed with shingles?
I've had a similar experience as you folks. I have the weirdest bulge/pain under left rib for almost 1.5 years now. Mine started after a fall and a ct scan when I had a terrible allergic reaction that triggered the worst health issues of my mostly healthy and active life. Docs all said the swelling between the ribs thing. I've had lots of xrays, ct scans and mris. One of the bijillion docs I've seen finally suggested internal shingles which seems to line up with the symptoms I had in the beginning. Unfortunately it seems to be nerve damage because initial symptoms weren't identified early enough and may mean that it is going to be there for a while. It explains the weird pains and the normal everthing else, but I have an appt in a few weeks to ask my primary more because it feels like I had a bit of a flare last week and I'm feeling at the end of my rope with pain that wakes me up at night.
