I have the same symptoms! Had upper GI and colonoscopy. Diverticulitis was my answer from the Dr. I am lactose intolerant like someone else said. Seems to hurt more after eating. Under left rib cage gergling lots of pain and burning feeling. Hope someone finds what this is.

I started a water pill last week and the next day I had the pain and now when I walk it feels like something is moving. Left side under my ribs. I stopped the pill but I had just gotten back from a 12 hour car ride a few days prior. The pain felt like I had walked 10 miles, You know the typical pain in the side after walking fast or jogging. I have been experiencing the same for some time. It doesn't pain but I feel discomfort on the Left side of my rib like there in an object there. Whenever I feel it, body pain and slight fever starts immediately. I went to the hospital, they did a scan and told me there is a kidney stone but not life threatening. I was advised to increase my water intake.

Hello I'm 20 and I've been experiencing some of the same problems, I woke up one day completely fine I went to work and my chest got so tight to the point u couldn't breathe properly.. it then wore off after an hour or so but then two days later I got this back pain very dull but got a little sharper, it then moved to just under my rib cage on my left hand side it's so annoying. Certain times of the day I feel hardly nothing but at other times it's so painful. I feel like I'm wearing a tight bra constantly and getting that pain you get with it. Any ideas? Because I really don't know what to do.

Haley did you ever find out anything? I am experiencing the same thing and they have me scared out of my wits. They want to do all these tests to rule out pancreatic and liver cancer. It's not pain......it is just a feeling I've had on my left side. I have had ibs for years and struggle with stress/anxiety.

I'm also 20 and had this pain during my matric year, that was two years back, I still do not have any answers. What's worse I cannot even participate in sports. I normally have the pain when I sit/lie down. I think what caused it was the type of bed of before was sleeping in, it was bearable but bad. Situation at home was bad that I had to sleep on that bed for a year. The pain left for a month or two then came back when I had to sleep on another lousy bed at Varsity. Which led me to conclude that our sleeping arrangements may have triggered the pain. If anybody finds answers please help, this pain is irritating, just wanna be a normal kid and act my age...

Hi have you had an MRI? I was diagnosed with Crohn's after fighting for one and had similar pain combined with lower colon pain.

Hi my name is Maria, I've been having the same problem for long time. On and off, but now the pain is so intense that I'm thinking of pancreatic cancer. Even though previous test didn't showed nothing before. I had also diagnosed myself with strain back muscle since the pain under my left rib shoots and aching back pain. I have no gallbladder, or might be ulcer or liver. I don't know what else can be.
Last year I got admitted for the same stomach pain and put into liquid diet and antibiotics and bed rest that was it . So it's a year again and I didn't want o to get admitted for the same but issue

I have had the same problem for about a year when I drive when I sit up when I lay down I jave really bothersome pressure on left side and recently had surgery which removed a small piece of lyphoma but the problem did not go away I still have pressure and I also have bad back pain on left side it's driving me nuts I have had the test that they put a microscope in and look and they put me on antibiotics but still no relief it's driving me nuts need help please any idea what that could be it's actually starting to scare me. I have been to 3 different doctors and they all just say it's gas but I believe to to be something SERIOUS. NEED HELP ANYONE !!!!
