I have noticed for about 5 months now that i have these spots sometimes in the pubic area at the top of my vagina and sometimes on the side of the "lips" (dont no the real name for them sorry) but after having sex 3 weeks ago iv noticed it being a bit red around my vaginal opening not like rash red just like a bit and it was quite sour in certain positions or when touched but today its been really bad i havnt been able to sit down properly because its been so painful its like stinging and its a bit itchy too but i just put some suduo cream on it and now it dont hurt at all but it will come back more then likely so is it a std or thrush? and if you think it is a std then which one? i just dont no whether to go the doctors or to the clinic or something because im only 16 and i dont feel comfortable telling my mum as she dont even no im sexually active i normally just ask my friends and go with them iv been the clinic a few times but never for anything important just getting free contraception, oh ye i used a condom when having sex 3 weeks ago.

I had that too after I started taking birth control. I forget the name of it, but mine was caused by an imbalance of my body's pH. I started drinking water with lemons in it, eating yogurt with live bacteria, and I regularly wash my vagina with warm water (3 times a day). Also, I wear thongs which made it worse...so I try to go commando as much as I can.
