Hello everyone. I have been doing much research on what is going on with me for almost a month now. Since September my "periods" have been very strange. I normally get severe cramps the fist day which hasn't happened, and also it has been a lot lighter and a few days shorter. I haven't had much for morning sickness other than just the general "not wanting to eat" or nothing sounds good. My breasts have been a lot more sensitive, but I didn't think much of that till 3-4 weeks ago when I started lactating some. (sorry if that is TMI) On top of these symptoms, I have been feeling strange "pulling muscle" type pains in my lower abs, headaches that just leave for a couple hours if I'm lucky (going on 2weeks or longer with them), strange dreams nightly (which isn't normal for me), some smells that don't normally bother me are now, trouble getting to sleep at night and a list of other things a mile long. I have gone in and had a blood test that came back neg, but at the same time all my other tests came back normal. I went for a follow up appointment two weeks later, but since my test came back normal, the doctor just wanted to put me on BC pills again and dismissed all my problems as stress. I'm sorry, but I know my body and there is something going on beyond stress. I was under far more stress this time last year and didn't have any of these issues. I have been reading on this forum for several weeks now and have found multiple stories the same as mine, what I would like to know is if people ever found out what was going on or if anyone else has gone through this. Please let me know if you or someone you know has gone though this.

Yes, stress can cause your period to be late. To help put your mind at ease go to the store and pick up a preg test. With most women they are accurate.
