My Boyfriend and i had rough sex three times last week. I was feeling pain in my abdomen, it kinda felt like my uterus was hanging on strings. 3 days after our last encounter i started bleeding. It's still too early to determine if it's my period, (still too light). The pain has subsided however what's up with the bleeding? Does rough sex cause your period to come 3 weeks early, or did he tear me and it's only started to bleed now?

It could be that he was a lil tooooo rough with you, that has happend with me. Next time make sure to use a lot of lube at least. But you should be fine, just give it a lil time to heal.

well, I was wondering the same thing. Because I just had some really rough sex and I woke up the next day bleeding. my period is not supposed to start for another 2 1/2 weeks, and I really am having no other signs of starting my period but the bleeding. Same here. We had just finished and it started. I have no cramps but just menstrual bleeding. I'm on a pill called cerazette which rarely gives me a period. I think it's from constant deep penetration. Glad I'm not the only one.

My period on average is every month and a half give or take a few days. Last night my boyfriend and I enjoyed some lovely rough sex for about an hour or so, longer then most times we have sex.. But not long after i started lightly bleeding and wasnt sure if it was cause for concern i used a tampon to absorb any blood and now i have cramps and medium bleeding but my period isnt due for another 2 weeks.. what the hell.. does anyone have any advice or knowledge of this sorta thing and whats happening?

Happened to me this week! Rough sex with a little bleeding and the next day I had a full on period with the only symptom being the blood. my period had just ended a week ago. Eat your iron rich foods lol!

Yes it does, check this out i hadnt had my period in about 5 months but i wasnt pregnant & since im irregular i wasnt that worried thinking it'll come if it doesnt im going to go the doc, i also hadnt sex in those 5months then last week i finally had sex again & he was going rough then the next day i started my period so yup i say it does...now im wondering if youre sexually active then stop being active does it effect your menstrual cycle, sounds like some research i can do

I have the same problem from time to time. My bf is on the bigger side so sometimes after rough sex I bleed. My dr told me its probably just from him bumping against my cervix continuously which can cause bleeding bc it's so sensitive. As long as it's not extremely heavy you should be okay. And if you are just getting your period, sometimes having a orgasm can cause the blood to flow heavier
