I had a pap that was abnormal that came bacl HGSIL/CINll.

Had a Colo and that came back "absolutely negative", doctors words, but still they want me to have a LEEP which I do not mind doing but I am seceduled for surgery in a few weeks and want to go into the operating room clean and with no problems!

Has anyone heard of doing a LEEP even though the colo came back negative?

Why not just do another PAP?

What else can cause a PAP to come back with HGSIL? then nothing from the COLOP?

Why would they do this even thoug I told them I am having hip replacement surgery? I am 62 years old so I am not concerned with becoming pregnate ever again. I am otherwise healthy. Never had an abnormal pap until now.

Confused to say the least?

HELP :-) Much thanks to all who respond
