after my latest pap came with abnormal results and my obgyn said I have cervical dysplasia, honestly, I wasn’t too much worried, thinking it’s just some infection-type thingy. But minutes later, when she started asking me about the timeframe for me having colposcopy, and if it proves necessary LEEP procedure as well, I got scared.
I’m a professional athlete, used to being healthy and now this! I guess I almost blacked out and didn’t hear half the stuff my obgyn was saying, but even in the worst case scenario - how long does colposcopy/ LEEP recovery takes and when will I be able to get back to swimming?

I am going to say 4-6 weeks. Thats what I was told by my doctor. I am getting leep done on Thursday. Hope this helps, also your doctor will fill you in on what you need to know to heal properly.
