My daughter had her adenoids and tonsils out over two months ago, at the age of thirteen.  She's having problems swallowing liquid without some of it coming out of her nose.  Any thoughts on this?

It may take a while longer but I do think it will return to normal. I had mine out when I was 10 on April vacation. They had my whole class in the hospital the first day of vacation.  I had started taking trumpet lessons and was just beginning to get something out of it that resembled music. After the operation I could not play it at all. When I tried to blow, the air all came out my nose. I still couldn't  play it when school closed in June but when we went back in September I was OK.
