I was wondering if anyone can tell me the likelihood of having a withdrawal seizure. Until two weeks ago, I drank about twice a week (5-7 drinks on each occasion). But two weeks ago, I began drinking every night (still 5-7 drinks on each occasion). I have to begin school again in a few days, and I need to know how likely it is that I will have a withdrawal seizure. I've read about it and it scares me. Any thoughts?

I doubt it would cause seizures ---its those drinking HUGE quanitites for years that are a t risk...meanwhile, I found melatonin/benadryl to to help my sleep when I quit smoking
