2 1/2 years ago I started having morning headaches and then dizziness. I seen my Dr. and told I had sinus & ear infection, was put on anibiotic but did not seem to clear up even though the dr. said there was no sign of infection.I was put on meds for dizziness and had a MRI of my head that was normal. I then started having a rapid heart rate and was feeling extrememly tired and weak.I went to Dr.& found that my t4 level was high, was diagnosed with Thyroiditis, was put on a beta blocker. After a couple months t4 & heart rate went back to normal but was still feeling very tired & having headaches and dizziness.I then started having tremors in my hands and throughout my whole body,I also developed twitches & also started to feel my heartbeat in my body like a drum. I have of late been experiencing numbness and tingleing in my legs & feet, having electric shock like pains in my head and face, nerve pain in my legs and weakness in my legs. I also have had a problem with my right eye almost from the beginning. the pupil dialates larger than the left and buldges and is painfull. I have had 3 MRI (head, neck & spine) all normal. I have had a EMG (normal) I have also went through a sleep study to rule out sleep apnia. Countless blood test and urine test. I have went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN who only seemed interested in my headaches and not all of my symtoms together. I am to the point where I do not go to the dr. anymore because I am always so disapointed that they cannot tell me what is wrong. I am now only taking Amytriptaline for sleep and pain and also a sleeping pill. I have a very hard time sleeping because of the tremors and the feeling of my heart beating. If anyone has any advise or has had any similar symtoms and has been diagnoses please, please let me know.

About 16 years ago I suffered from rapid heart rate, profuse sweating, weight loss and being exhausted. After going to three doctors I finally found an article on Grave's Disease (thyroid disorder) demanded a blood test. That was my problem hyperthyroid! Though this may not be your problem you may want to check it out. You need meds for this to slow down your thyroid. I suggest another blood test and another doctor.

Thank you for your reply
I have had many blood test and my thyroid levels are normal. I have also seen a MS specialist who doesn't seem to be able to tell me if that is what I have or not. My father had MS and a lot of my symptoms are the same as what he had. I know MS is hard to diagnose but I need answers.

I have similar problems, but not all. few of them. I took some homeopathy medicines. It cleared up most of the symptoms except burning feet. So, I changed another homeopath doctor. He sent me few medicines...I am going to use them. Hopefully everything will be resolved.

you can visit www.askdrshah.com, he might help you..

I have similar symptoms as well with no results: Headaches, dizziness, numbness and tingling all over my body, vision problems. I've had blood tests, but everything seems normal. I went to see a neurologist and he diagnosed me with migraine headaches with aura. I've tried medications, but they do not seem to be working for me. However, you could look into migraine headaches with aura. Good luck to you!

Hi! I'm a WPW patient who happen to see a chiropractor regularly for my spinal adjustments (have several problems in my spine). Recently, my heart started racing again and he suggested that I squeeze a ball using my left hand. I did and the next day, my heart's been back to normal. He explained on my next visit that it had something to do with nerve inhibitions from the right brain affecting the heart rate (but I am only a layman so I can't express what he was trying to tell me - have to ask him again). Perhaps you might visit a good chiropractor who could examine your spine more thoroughly to see if everything adds up, especially if it's nerves, it's usually spine-related. It's worth a try.

Take a look at chronicneurotoxins.com and also check out PANES from use of SSRI drugs if you have taken any of those. The amitriptylene may even qualify. I have similar symptoms and MRI tests plus countless MD opinions that all go nowhere. So far, the best I can come up with to explain the symptoms is some form of exito neurotoxin, poison/pesticides or damage from ssri drugs. Good luck figuring it out.

I will make this comment short and sweet. All of you go order Hulda Clarks book called; A CURE FOR ALL DISEASES. I am telling you if you want to get over dizziness or any illness get her book it will tell you how. Bascially chemicals and parasites from dogs ect make you sick. Her book will show you step by step to cure anything.

I would start by taking vitamin B6, niacin, and black walnut drops. That will get rid of the dizziness. But, ya read her book. Instead of having to go to the doctor you can just cure yourself.

Perhaps you should be tested for idiopathic intracranial hypertension. It could be causing your headaches and dizziness and can be associated with thyroid conditions. Any ct scans or MRI will show up as normal. Unfortunately the only way to get checked is to have a spinal tap or lumbar puncture to check your pressure. Also you should have an ophthalmologist look at your eyes especially your optic discs as they can be swollen if you have this condition.

it is anxiety.. i have had the profound heart beat and inner trembling and it is sooo scary. I also started getting palpitations. You need to control your stress. get some anxiety program.. CDs, meditations or guided imagery. do not take medications, they make everthing worse.
your nervous system is on heightened alert and it causes many of these symptoms. clean up your diet and just eat pure whole foods, not processed. very little meat and go easy or dairy or stop dairy. good luck. you are not alone.

I have had the same symptoms for 5 years and have had all test done that you can possibly have done. I was treated for lymes disease and just had another mri which showed two spots on my brain has gotten bigger and now they are testing me for ms. I am tired of feeling like this and hopefully they figure it out so i can get the right treatments...Its really tough out there to find the right doctor to understand you and not think we are crazy. I see an ms doctor in 2 weeks and will let you know what they say.....
