Need some empathetic advice from a Doctor if possible. I am a foreigner in a pay system in a country that charges extortianate fees.
And cannot afford treatment as unemployed in recessional times. I am 41 yr old male and have had a globus sensation for over a month in throat. I have suffered from GERD inpast but no vomit/fever/lymph enlargements/coughing up blood/no weight loss, but dry burps and loud. Just a little trouble on swallowing & eusophagus feeling 'full' after eating, little nausea. Have taken omnaprazole and little benefit. 40grm a day. Recent weeks have tried to maintain a soft food diet, soups but the odd burger. Do have a lot of stress and I do feel that to a high degree of anxiety. I have also Hypertension and medicated for this but not monitored. Depressed and starting to panic. Can I gain a perspective here?

Hi there, I think that this is a double post but I just wanted to check in with you. I don't think that what you're experiencing is cancer, but I do think that it would merit getting checked out by a doctor because it could still be something that needs attention. I know that it is probably going to be difficult for you, but it is worth the money to make sure that you are okay. Is that something you can do?
