Hello Everyone,
I went to a mexican restaurant three days ago and ate 3 hard tacos. About an hour afterwards it felt as if I had food caught in my throat and tried coughing, drink plenty of water, but it never went down. I went to the urgent care yesterday and the doctor said he felt swelling and thinks its dysphagia and prescribed me prednisone. Ive taken the prednisone for two days and haven't felt improvements. It still feels like food is still caught on left-middle part of my throat and a piece of hair is stuck in the back of my mouth but can't seem to find anything as I used a flashlight. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations on how to cure this? Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have had this feeling on and off for the past 4 months. It comes for about 2 to 4 weeks then goes away from 2 to 4 weeks... its very strange. I have seen 2 doctors about this and they both said it was "Globus" which is where your throat feels swollen due to allergies, like drainage from your nose that goes into your throat at night and sits there which causes inflamation and irritation. When it goes away I feel super excited but then.. just a few days later it is back. I don't understand what I can do to get rid of this feeling. its driving me crazy! I started taking benadryl and it seemed to help alittle bit but I dont' want to be stuck on benadryl the rest of my life! :( .. If you find out anything please let me know! :P thanks
