It’s the food man. Ever since the beginning of Covid the foods have been totally destroying us. No way we all simultaneously have the same issue around the same time.

Feeling like your stomach is empty in the morning is a common experience for many people, and there are several possible reasons for this sensation. Here are a few possible explanations:

Overnight fasting: When you sleep, your body is in a fasted state, which means that your digestive system is not processing any food. Depending on how long you sleep, this can result in a feeling of emptiness in your stomach when you wake up.

Acid reflux: If you have acid reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), you may wake up in the morning with an empty feeling in your stomach and a burning sensation in your chest or throat. This is because the acidic contents of your stomach can reflux up into your esophagus, causing discomfort and a sense of emptiness.

Hunger: If you didn't eat a substantial meal the night before, you may wake up feeling hungry and like your stomach is empty. This is especially true if you have a fast metabolism or are used to eating larger meals.

Anxiety or stress: Anxiety or stress can affect your digestion and cause a feeling of emptiness in your stomach. If you are experiencing other symptoms like nausea, stomach pain, or diarrhea, this could be a sign of an anxiety or stress-related digestive disorder.

If this empty stomach feeling persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, it may be worth discussing with your doctor They can help identify the underlying cause of your symptoms and suggest appropriate treatment or lifestyle changes.

In the meantime, try eating high-fiber foods (whole grains, fruits and vegetables, nuts, and seeds), protein-rich foods (lean meats, fish, poultry, eggs, beans, and lentils), and healthy fats (avocados, nuts, seeds, and fatty fish).
