I'm not sure if anyone has any thoughts, and I found this site from googling so I thought I would give it a shot.

Two years ago I had an extreme stomach disorder. At the time I had seven doctors and had every test completed that I could. This included two endoscopies (throat) and one rectal. I also had a colonoscopy with biopsy and nothing could be found. I did the ole' poop and take a sample thing, and most unpleasant was that I had to capture all of my bowel movements in a jar the size of a colosal mayonaise jar. I actually filled the jar completely in three days and it was almost all clear'ish liquid.

Initially they thought the symptoms may have been caused by some traveling but that didn't seem to be the case and now two years later it's back.

My symptoms are: extreme diarrhea (I call it explosive) that even hits when I'm showering or any other time of the day; extreme bloating of the lower stomach so it's significantly noticeable; incredibly intense gas that smells different than normal (tmi); gurgling in the stomach loudly when I lay down or stand up too quickly, wishy washy effect; and inability to eat or drink during the day because of these symptoms. The thing I can best describe it to is when you have your prep for your colonoscopy, only it happens throughout the day and the evening, even if I drink nothing. The reason why it is so significant is that the last time I lost 20lbs because of it and my body became dehydrated and lacked nearly any nutritional elements. It lasted 6 months and they tried putting me on steroids and nothing helped. I've also taken anti-d and it does nothing. Literally, I can drink a glass of water and it flows through me immediately and is clear. It's almost as if my stomach or intestines don't exist.

I know this sounds like a bunch of things like Celiac and Crohn's, but I think it's far more than that. I already drink no lactose and barely eat bread. For seven GI specialists not to be able to find anything is unsettling and frustrating. I also had more than enough bloodwork and the only thing recent testing has shown is abnormalities in my liver, pancreas and borderline anemia. The abnormalities were actually shown before this happened. I've had to start missing work and school which isn't great for finals and finishing up a job. The only other thing they could think of last time might have been a ruptured ulcer. They also said that my body was absorbing too much fat, but I wasn't really eating anything that was signifiant in terms of fat content. I have a nutritionist and she keeps that in check. I had one doctor tell me to stop eating fatty foods and I laughed. A-hole.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be open to anything.

Thank you.

PS: I'm not in a small town or anything. I'm in NYC and have had some of the best doctors from the best rated practices and hospitals, etc etc etc.
