You should talk to your gynecologists as soon as possible. It doesn't sound like a normal postparum bleeding. Immediately following delivery and for approximately 4- 7 days after, your discharge can be expected to be bright red. This bleeding is known as the lochia and is part of the natural cleansing process of the uterus. Your bleeding could be due to the manual placenta removal, but you should contact your gynecologist about this.
