Ever since I started my periods, they've been incredibly painful. It would hurt in my lower abdomen, but also all down my inner thighs and even below my knees. Actually, it just hurt everywhere, I'd sometimes throw up and always would feel nauseous. I never had any warning cramps or anything until a fee minutes before I started bleeding. My periods have always been quite heavy and the pain usually stopped by the 3rd day- then I'd have 4 or so days of no pain at all. On the first two days I'd be shaking and crying and nothing used to make me cry. Anyway, I was too shy to tell anyone. When I was about 15, I finally started taking painkillers and have even snuck some tramadol- nothing. Nothing works. I'm 17 and they still haven't regulated- I never know when they're going to happen. Even more strange is that I get random cramps sometimes up to two weeks before anything happens. The pain is not soo bad, but I found out it's not normal. Recently, though, I've had a few very light periods with only a tiny amount of pain. I say light- the blood is thin, but there's a lot more of it.
This may or may not be relevant, but when I have sex, I get horrible cramps the next day and, without fail, my period will start within 5 days no matter when I had it last. Strangely enough, this also happened on two occasions when I had non-penetrative sex.
I can't be on the pill because of migraines. I think I have the pain more or less under control, but does this sound serious ? I really don't want to have. to go to a doctor..
