We have another case of doctors’ neglect with a tragic end this time. A young 31 year-old father Peter Cura, from Rainham, was missed a diagnose of kidney cancer even after 37 appointments for scans and physical examinations at the Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, Kent.

Peter Cura left behind a wife and two young children who are asking from the hospital to admit what they have done and to do something about it so that others wouldn’t have to go through the same thing.

Peter Cura was complaining about severe back pain and all of his symptoms were showing up as typical cancer symptoms. However, all the scans and examinations could not pinpoint a specific disease. Not until a CAT scan was done, did they notice that one of his kidneys was completely dead and needed to be removed. Once the doctors opened him up, they were able to find a 3-inch tumor that had spread throughout his body.

The biggest problem was that the doctors didn’t even suspect cancer. The Cura family was told they have nothing to worry about even when the tumor was found. Mr Cura was very angry and disappointed at the doctors who failed to diagnose him correctly for 37 times. He died last week.
