Hey guys,

I'm 23 and have been smoking everyday since I was 19. About a month ago, I caught a virus and had a really sore throat so I stopped smoking. My heart rate (normally 80-90bpm) increased to ~110-130bpm, plus being sick, I was on bed rest for a week. After a week, I went back to work and doing my regular activities. Now nearly it's a month later, and for the last few days my heart rate has been back up to ~110-130bpm. I'm worried something could be wrong with my heart, maybe I still have the virus, but could my heart be beating so rapidly because of marijuana withdrawal? I've been quite anxious/worries about this, so my anxiety could definitely be a factor in my high heart rate.

If someone could give me some ideas for what is up, I'd appreciate it! Really hoping it's withdrawal symptoms and that my heart rate will go down to normal soon. Thanks!
