Hi,

I wanted to post something on a message board somewhere as I'm so sick of reading them! I have had one extremely odd year and it all started of with some irritating itching around my bum, god knows I didn't have a clue where it was all going to go after that... So a couple of months went by and this itching just got worse and it even got a bit painful at times, so I got myself together and went to see the doctor. The Doctor decided it may be a haemorrhoid and going by the itching and pain I thought yeah ok that sounds reasonable.

So at this point I get prescribed Anusol HC which completely stopped any pain and the itching went away. I did the course and after it still hurt... I should have gone back to the doctors at that point, but I convinced myself I should just use anusol for a while longer. Anyway this became my way to control the pain but the side effect of the steroids started to get in the way. I put on quite a bit of weight and when I went to the toilet it hurt like hell! Anyway after maybe two or three months I went to a different doctor as I was living in a different area by this time. This Doctor was a complete ****** and basically shrugged me off and gave me some different steroids (Which didn't even stop the pain!). So on comes another month or two until I finally plucked up the will to go back to the doctor again, this time it was an emergency appointment as it hurt so bad. She wrote to the surgeon and finally I was going to see someone who might be able to help me out.

Now this is the point to add. Whilst all of this was going on I had started to feel rather yucky. I was feeling very numb in my head. No head aches, no other odd symptoms. It was just as though I was depressed.

So anyway I finally got to see the surgeon maybe another couple of months down the line after the wait and low and behold what does he find.... Worms! So you wouldn't believe it would you. All that rubbish I had had to put up with and it was something that could have been fixed months ages ago... Well so I thought. The pain got a bit better but never went away. So in the end I took maybe 5-600mg or ovexs because I was pissed off and within two days there was more blood in the toilet then you could imagine. Anyway the pain still did not go so I went to the doctors a couple of weeks ago and she has given me some cream that seems to be finally fixing that problem... Fingers crossed anyway.

Now what I seem to be left with after all this is a rather odd feeling. My head feels numb and dull and I seem to have a lack of focus. At work this is becoming something else, I really can't do my job properly. I seem to feel worn out at times and its like I'm not even in the same room, almost like I've taken some drugs. Another thing to note is my sense of sound seems to be much higher, things make me jumpy. All these strange symptoms seem to be making me panic and I feel like I'm stuck in a cycle.

I am going back to the doctors again, but I wanted to share this on here so maybe someone spots it and knows what is going on with me and second if anyone else is having the symptoms I had with their bum maybe they find the easy way out before they end up where I did!

I hope some one can possible shed some light. It would be nice to go back to the doctor with some advice from other places.
