I was having trouble in my throat. It was hard to breathe and swallowing was a nuisance. I felt the need to check out my throat. I put my finger down my throat, and I know it sounds weird, but I felt almost as if I had a tongue in my throat. I could flip it up and down. I'm not sure if it's any relevance, but the doctors believe that I may have kidney stones. I was researching about them and one cause was a benign tumor in the throat. Although, I'm not sure what a tumor feels like. If someone has any ideas, please get back to me.

I don't think that what you've got in the back of your throat is a tumor. At the back of your throat, there actually is a flap of skin that comes down in the back of the throat that might feel like a tongue a bit. If it does concern you or it doesn't sound like what I'm talking about then tell your doctor about it. Does that sound right or is it something else different? Please keep us posted.
