I just got my first period a little bit ago. it wasn't a heavy flow so i only needed pantiliners and only changed them about 2-3 times a day. I noticed with the pantiliners on it started getting really itchy down there. I also have a paper route, so I had to bike while wearing the pantiliners. When my period stopped after about five days I stopped wearing the pantiliners. I noticed it is really red, rashy, and it is peeling on the area around my vagina. I only wear cotton underwear, but it still looks the same after about 3 days
Could it be from the biking? would that cause chafing and irritation?
Or is it an allergic reaction? (note: the pantiliners are Kotex and unscented)

I find that if I don't change my pad often enough, especially if I do any activity that involves sweat (such as biking), I will get a rash. It lasts anywhere from 2-5 days, then goes away, and can be pretty painful. If your rash doesn't go away quickly, though, you ought to have a doctor check it out.
