I have very painful hemmoroides for about 2 weeks I went to gastrointerologist who sent me to a Colon Rectal surgeon I could not endure the examination he injected me in the anus with a long needle to numb me that alone was excruciating then proceeded to probe me I have never experienced such pain I actually was screaming for him to stop. He suggested that was enough for one day and to return the next day which i did he repeated same proceedure and had to stop He could not go up far enough to see if I had fissures . He recommended that he treat me for fissures with hydro something or other cream and a nitrate cream. I am still having difficulty with bowel movements and bleeding Does anyone else have this experience. ? I am to return to the Colon rectal surgeion i 4 weeks. Does this guy know what he is doig?

The nitro cream is pretty good, and will probably heal the fissure if its there.  It sounds like he knows what he's doing, but usually they stick a scope up there to be able to see whats going on.  This sounds like what they normally do on the first visit, if it doesn't work, then they used a laser therapy on me next, when the hemarroids were still causing me agony, after 9m mths of different treatments, had to get the surgery done, miracle after three weeks of pain.  I am so glad its done.
Good luck to you hopefully the cream will work for you.
