I have had severe flank pain (to the point i was put on morphine patches for a month) since Oct 10, been into hospital several times (once for a 4 day stay with the first UTI) and had an abdominal CT and an ultrasound, both of which the doctors said were clear. I have had 2 courses of antibiotics for UTIs, the first time it cleared up but apparently came back 2 weeks ago. The doctors have basically told me that they dont know whats wrong and any more tests would be pointless, but the pain is still as bad as it was months ago and im living on heatpatches and cocodamol. Has anybody had a problem like this before and can offer any advice?

YES! im in the exact same boat as you are. clear UTI results - went on two antibiotics ... still have severe flank pain. i stopped taking the adderall because of the pain. doctors are clueless. this seems to be a problem with girls only (from what ive read on message boards online so far....)
If you hear anything from your docs lemme know. im getting an ultrasound on my kidneys in a few weeks ..... aahh
