Often, as a result of some method, procedure or surgery, some part of the lens might remain in the eye and cause further problems and it seems that you have one of those. All those remaining parts might cause those symptoms you have mentioned. I guess the only option now is to head to your doctor once more and explain the situation.

Well,
Diabetes is very problematic and can cause many problems, not just to your eyes. How long have you been suffering from diabetes? How long have you noticed that your vision is not good? The most common treatment for this is surgery and doctor suggested the good thing. However you have to understand that this is usual after the surgery and it should pass after some time. How long have you been having this problem with floaters and flashes in front of your eyes? Have you used any eye drops after the surgery? I think that you should talk to your doctor again if this is happening for too long. I hope this helped.

All the best,
Nelie
