Hello, I am 36 years old and it looks like I am having some eye problem. I had these flashes couple of times in a week and since it was nothing painful, I did not pay much attention to it. But now, those flashes in my vision have gotten more frequent and it really started to bother me. I know that I have to go to a doctor, but I would like to know now what might be the reason for it.

Those flashes might be cause by several different things. Most serious one might be retina ablation, which might be caused by some degenerative processes, damaged circulation, because of diabetes… It is very clear that you must go tot a doctor and a simple examination will tell you what the problem is and how it should be treated.

Well,
Eye floaters are really problematic and they can cause many problems in daily activities. The fact is that most flashes in eyes are caused by age related problems. For instance if your retina is getting worse you will most likely notice the flashes in the eyes. Also you have to understand that you will have to see a doctor in order to find the right cause of your flashes and the appropriate cure for them. How long have you been having the flashes in your eyes? Do you have dry eyes? Have you used any medication for this or maybe some eye drops? I hope this helped a bit.
All the best,
Nelie
